How JSP Resins Beat a Cheap Keurig O-Ring Replacement: A PTFE Product Lesson

- What material data sheet supports the temperature range?
- Who is the exact mold maker, and can I see a mold maintenance log?
- What's the rework policy if the part fails in the field?
Per FTC guidelines, specific claims about materials need substantiation. The FTC Green Guides, for example, require evidence behind 'recyclable' and similar environmental claims. If a supplier can't give me a material data sheet, I treat the claim as a red flag. I apply the same logic to unit prices. According to USPS pricing effective January 2025, a First-Class letter is $0.73. A stamp sounds cheap, but 4,000 stamps is $2,920. Small unit price differences in o-rings add up just as fast.
